 Parent Advisory Group Volunteer Opportunities Below is a list of events that the PAG is planning for this year. Parent volunteers are needed to organize and help out with all of these events. Volunteering is great way to get involved with your child's school and meet other parents. Community Outreach Each year the PAG works to give back to the greater-Andover community by choosing an organization to support through donations or community service. In past years, the PAG has collected hundreds of pounds of food, diapers, and other essentials for Neighbors in Need. We would like to organize an event in time for the Holiday season. Parent/Teacher Workshop The PAG sponsors a parent and teacher workshop each year that focuses on the issues the parent and/or teacher community feel is important. Volunteers are needed to research topics and presenters, schedule and publicize the events, and plan and attend the workshop. To help out or coordinate Parent/Teacher Workshop, click here. Parent & Child Enrichment Night Each year, the PAG plans an evening activity for parents and their children. In the past, we've brought in someone (such as a story teller or Coach Michelle) or planned the event ourselves with the help of our teachers (such as 3's Get Messy Night and 4's Discovery Science Night). Elizabeth Sullivan Photography Elizabeth is an extraordinary North Andover photographer who has supported CCCC for years. We coordinate the schedule and volunteers for two photo days at Elizabeth's studio and in return receive beautiful photographs of our children (at a very reasonable rate) as well as part of the proceeds from Elizabeth. To help out or coordinate Elizabeth Sullivan Photography, click here. Parents' Night Out PAG puts the "fun" in fundraising with an event just for the parents. Previous events have included a golf tournament and wine tasting at Indian Ridge and Andover Country clubs. This year, we are looking for an event or venue that would allow the majority of the ticket cost to go to CCCC. Ideas so far include a progressive dinner and/or an event in Parish Hall. Family Socials In addition to the upcoming Fall Meet and Greet, PAG is planning on having an event for the whole family towards the end of the year, similar to the ice cream socials we've had in the past. Teacher Appreciation Lunch To show thanks for our wonderful teachers, a luncheon is held each May. Help is needed with set, up clean-up, decorating, favors and coordinating delicious donations.
